The Shower of Light

The light draws me...
As far as I am able, I reach out to it,
Wanting so much to touch it- to feel it.
I want it to shine upon me,
For I know it's warmth
Is full of love and compassion.

It comes closer and I am surrounded by it.
A heaviness is lifted and released from my being.
I am weightless.

Without words, we speak
Who are you and why are you here?
We are the energy of
All kind thoughts in the universe.
We have gathered together as one
Knowing it is your time
To bask in the light
Of love and compassion.
It is our wish that you carry it with you forever.
Let the light glow through you
And extend to those that sit before you today,
As well as all you meet in the future.
