Everyone's Heard Of IQ, But What's Your LQ?

Life IQ And The LQ Test

Do you have a high IQ? Is there such thing as a Life IQ? If there were, would you mind me asking you to place this number on the upper right-hand side of your employment application? That may be the scenario a little ways into the future.

In the past, the IQ, or your Intelligence Quotient, was developed to measure a person's ability to solve logical, left-brained problems. Your normal IQ has to do with your ability to make certain kinds of brain connections. But over time, we realized that there was much more to life than logical ability. So along came the EQ, or your Emotional Intelligence, which is your ability to function emotionally, feel emotions, and to judge a situation and act accordingly; all aspects of the right brain.

Both of those gave a fairly well-rounded view of the brain, but not of the life energy commanding the brain. So the SQ was developed, which is your Spiritual Quotient or Spiritual Intelligence, measuring problem-solving for issues of meaning and value- like asking yourself why you would want to be in a situation in the first place.

But none of these accurately measured a person's ability to excel at life. And low and behold, the LQ, or Life Quotient, was coined. It's the latest in the evolution of life and daily living.

Your LQ Test will eventually measure everything about Life Itself, such as one's:

  • Health Ability- how healthy your body, mind, and spirit is
  • Relationship Ability- how mutually beneficial, strong, and positive your relationships are in your personal life, family life, work life, love life, and relationship with the world around you
  • Success Ability- how successfulyou are >>
  • Contribution Ability- how much contribution you make to society, based off your potential>>
  • Longevity Ability- what potential life span you have

Can You Imagine…

Just as we see people with high IQ, there will people with high LQ. Can you imagine having quizzes and tests like the IQ Test for the LQ? Can you see that as something that could be used in the future for businesses, relationships, insurance agencies, hospitals, and things?

Sarah McCrum, the Director at The Academy of Potential Education says, "Yes, absolutely for sure. That kind of information is more important. If you want somebody to work for you, it's more important to know about their health and what kind of life problems they could have. If you really want an honest assessment of a person, you need to look at their life ability. It's no good just looking what kind of university degree they have. It's not even any good looking at what kinds of experiences they've had.

Someone can have a high IQ with fantastic experience, but in two years time they're going to be very sick if you looked at their future health assessment factors. At the moment it's not acceptable to look at things like that. It would be seen as a kind of discrimination or abuse of privacy. But it's coming, cause it's extremely important to a company's bottom line. Already we're seeing people getting fired for being overweight or for smoking. Even some top companies in China use this approach for shuffling their managers. So it's a future trend that will continue to grow."

High LQ Can Overcome Any Sickness!

But in the future, when we'll all have the ability (or at least the potential) to overcome sickness, for sure people will look at those kinds of things when they're looking at employing people. At the moment we don't feel that there's any way to deal with sickness, so we kind of leave ourselves to be victims. But the moment people will understand that there's a way to overcome health problems and prevent health problems, it will then be seen as a question of ability, not chance or luck.

The moment that overcoming sickness and excelling at all aspects of life becomes a question of ability, we'll begin to reward people who have higher ability, people who are better at preventing health problems, and people who can naturally overcome dis-ease. They'll have a high LQ Score. We'll reward them more highly then the people who become sick and fail at having proper relationships, because their ability to overcome health problems and to excel at life is higher and stronger- like someone who receives a high IQ score today.

As long as something is seen as just pure chance or pure luck or bad luck we somehow seem to have a habit of saying, "Ok, well, we'll just close our eyes to that, we won't look at it and believe we have a say in it." But this will fundamentally change over time the more confident we get at our abilities to heal ourselves and to excel at life- the higher our LQ scores go up.
