Fully Functioning Human Beings Expect Ultra High Health And Great Relations
Why Do We Say That We Are Sick When We Want High Health?
We don't say that we are sick just because we detect some kind of chemical change in our body. We don't say we are sick just because some internal organ isn't functioning properly. We say we are sick because we can't live our life to the standard that we expect to be able to. It's a common response in our society today. And the flip-side is that we haven't been taught that there are simple, practical solutions for getting well and healing any health problem in a short amount of time.
We have been trained to say, "I am sick", only when we have some kind of pain that prevents us from being able to act normally. And it works the same way when we start having any kind of symptoms, like dizzy spells, sneezing, overly sleepy, or if we have a rash on our body. Each triggers a different response within us. The rash makes us "look" ugly. But in our normal life we want to look beautiful and attractive so that we can gain respect, have good relationships, attract partners and all those things.
"I expect high levels of health at all times throughout my day."
If there's something that's stopping you from being able to function to the standard that you expect, then you start to say that you're sick. And when you say that you are sick, you begin to think that you are sick. And when you think that you are sick, even a small negative thought towards yourself, then some part of you, even if it's just a cell in your body, responds to that message and gets some degree of sickness inside it.
But instead, you could just expect high health.
Nothing Less Than A Vibrant Human Being
What does it mean to function fully as a human being? What's the standard? What's the expectation that any individual has of health? Because people have very different expectations. For example, if a westerner from a comfortable background had to live like somebody from a very poor background, like in sub-Saharan Africa, then for sure that western person would feel that they were really sick all the time. These cultures have very different expectations of health.
So, the real definition of health, in the broader sense, means, that you must be able to function fully in all areas of your life and in all situations: relationships, your health, your business and finances, your love life, your ability to handle extreme situations; these all come alive when you expect high health.
High Expectations Bring High Health
An important part of health is educating people in what we can expect from the human body and from human life so that we raise the level of our game and raise the level of our expectation of quality of life. Expect that your body can handle it. Expect that you can do more, not less, with what you have.
As we raise the level of health within ourselves, it switches how we experience and react to the experiences of health problems. If you expect to function at a much higher level in life, then accepting the existence of small problems in your body may not become acceptable anymore. By expecting more from your body and spirit, these minor (and sometimes major) issues can fall away and cease causing problems for you within a very short while. This is part of the training one can receive through courses and programs administered by the Academy of Potential Education.
As a small experiment, try it the next time you only sleep half the night. Instead of waking up and expecting to feel low in energy all day, expect to feel normal, if not great. In most cases, you will in fact have more energy that day and be increasing your level of health.
And here's another way to look at it:
In the future, when people have awful relationship problems, like a lot of people have nowadays, it will be seen as being sick. It will be like a kind of disability- to not know how to have a good relationship. The daily issues and problems that we accept today will be considered diseases in the future.
So high health is being able to fully function as a capable and useful human being. Just ask yourself what kind of standard of life you expect to be living... and therefore what kind of standard of health (LINK to Telling the Future of Health) you expect. If you can achieve that quality of life and function fully in it according to the highest expectations that you have, then you can say that you are pretty healthy. That's the way we are seeing the new understanding and expectation of high health beginning to emerge.
